Hermes appoint Skanska for £68m design and build contract
Skanska has won a £68m contract to design and build an eight-floor office development in the City of London.
Skanska has been appointed by client Hermes Real Estate on the 21,000 sq m building at 20 Gresham Street.
The contractor will also carry out the M&E work on the building.
The project team includes Kohn Pederson Fox (architect), City Offices (development manager), Waterman Partnership (structural engineer) and Hilson Moran (services engineer).
Work will begin on site immediately and completion is due in September 2008.
