Mace has completed work on a new flagship office for Sky in west London, images of which have now been released.

The broadcaster, which is the subject of a £11.2bn takeover by Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox media group, has space for 3,500 staff at the offices in Osterley.

Called Sky Central, the 37,000sq m building runs across three floors and includes a 100m ‘street’ running along the ground floor, connecting the main entrances.

It includes a cashless supermarket, six different places to eat and drink and a 200-seat cinema.

Amanda Levete’s practice AL_A was the concept architect while PLP was interior and executive architect. Workplace design was carried out by Hassell while main contractor was Mace and the engineer Arup.
