The South Bank Centre has sent out tenders for two architectural competitions as part of the arts centre's impending redevelopment.
The first competition is for a landscape architect for the entire scheme and a designer to reshape the Hungerford Car Park and Jubilee Gardens.

The second includes the design of a new concert hall, the shell and core accommodation for the new British Film Institute, a cinema and an office building. Five architects will be shortlisted for the scheme.

Decisions on both competitions are due early next year.
