Thorpes of Great Glen – for its installation at Jones Lang LaSalle, London

This project comprised the supply and installation of specialist joinery to the management/executive floor and two general office floors.

A wide range of finishes were used in this development, including veneer, page lacquer, PU paint, laminate, glass, st-steel, corian, and stone and leather upholstery.

Joinery items include doorsets, credenzas, AV and feature walls, breakout areas and bench seats.

Architect HLW International also received an award.

Silver Award

Sitec Interiors – for its project at Boxworks, Birmingham

The width of the floor plate and spacing of the mezzanine steels means employees were limited for storage space. To resolve this, Sitec created a flush-fitting unit between the steel columns to the underside of the mezzanine, incorporating flush-fitted data and power points, two double cupboards with shelving and pull-out filing frames at low level and 18 box cupboards above.

Each cupboard is a brightly coloured square on touch latches that blends into the wall, hiding the purpose of the construction.
