Pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery has been topped out by contractor Bovis Lend Lease

This year’s temporary pavilion at London’s Serpentine Gallery has been topped out for completion at the end of this month. Kjetil Thorsen of Snøhetta and Danish artist Olafur Eliasson have come up with a lop-sided spinning top, complete with a dramatic spiralling a ramp. Bovis Lend Lease is the main contractor for the project and Nussli is the timber specialist. The project team also includes Arup, Stanhope, Consensus and Davis Langdon.
