Architect proposes mixed-use redevelopment of 1.1 Acton hectare shopping centre

Architecture practice Stock Woolstencroft has submitted plans for a £52m overhaul of a west London shopping centre.

Stock Woolstencroft is proposing a mixed-use redevelopment of The Oaks shopping centre in Acton, which will incorporate 146 homes.

The architect submitted the plans on behalf of the landowner, Acton Regeneration Company.

Stock Woolstencroft said the inclusion of a significant residential element would encourage 24 hour activity across the site and help the borough meet its target of delivering 890 new homes each year.
