BAA Lynton, the commercial property division of BAA, this week launched its Terminal 5 hotel at London Heathrow. The 600-bedroom hotel is the only one to be built as part of the development.

It will be the second hotel at the airport to have a physical link to a terminal building.

The Terminal 5 hotel will be built in a prime position one minute from the M25. A junction will be created on the motorway for easy access. It will also be close to the Heathrow Express rail route and the Piccadilly Line, which are both to be extended to the terminal.

The Manser Practice-designed hotel is expected to open in 2008 to coincide with the opening of the terminal.
