The Local Authority Building Control is calling for entries for this year's Built in Quality National Awards. Building owners, architects, contractors or LABC building control officers are invited to submit an application.

Categories include best structural innovation, best commercial project, best partnership with a client or housebuilder and best sustainability innovation.

Last year, Best Structural Innovation went to the London Borough of Lambeth for Evelina Children's Hospital.

The awards will be held on Thursday 19 October at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The entries deadline is Friday, 26 May.
