The £75m redevelopment of Baskerville House, one of Birmingham's most prominent landmarks, has been given the green light by the council's planning committee. The project will incorporate the building's grade II-listed interior with 18,584 m2 of office space and a basement health club. The floorplates will be modified to incorporate two atriums, and two floors will be added to the top of the building. Work will start this spring, and the target date for completion is late 2004. The developer is Targetfollow, and the architect and town planner is Rolfe Judd.
