Architect Penoyre & Prasad has revealed this image of an integrated sports, health and community centre, which opened last week.





The SCORE (Sports Club Orient) project in Leyton, east London, was part of the London 2012 Olympic bid and will provide training facilities for the Games. The scheme, which covers two sites over 7.3 ha, cost £7.4m and was funded by organisations such as English Partnerships, Sport England and Waltham Forest council. The contractor was Jackson Construction.
