Studio Egret West secures green light for two buildings containing 364 homes
Tower Hamlets council has approved plans by Studio Egret West for 364 homes at a gasworks site in east London as part of the latest phase of Berkeley’s Bow Common scheme.

The reserved matters application for the third phase of the wider 1,750-home development includes two residential buildings above a podium garden and community space.
The scheme will also provide nearly 2,500sq m of public space including a new amphitheatre pavilion which aims to create a new gathering place for locals and an outdoor performance space.
A new bridge will also link the two blocks to a terraced park currently being delivered under the second phase of the scheme.
The project is being delivered by Berkeley subsidiary St James with others on the team including planning consultant Quod and landscape architect Murdoch Wickham.
