Former Churchfield group managing director Martin Tidd has joined private contractor Wates Group's executive committee.
Tidd, who left the fit-out contractor last October, started work last month. He will be responsible for fit-outs and interiors.
When it launched its interiors arm last year, Wates said it aimed to take on big players in the fit-out market, such as Interior.
Tidd joined Churchfield at the start of last year. He was previously director of Laing Construction's southern arm.
