Capita Architecture has been appointed to design the £13.1m rebuild of a Nottingham primary school as part of the city’s £90m Building Schools for the Future programme

The Southwark primary school in Old Basford, Nottingham, will include large hub spaces, adventure playgrounds, a theatre and a relaxation area. The structure has been designed with an aim of achieving a BREEAM “excellent” rating. Construction is due to begin this month.
