Alfred McAlpine, Carillion and BPTW are among the shortlisted companies for the second annual Regeneration Awards, hosted by Building and its sister publications Property Week and Building Design.
The gala awards evening will be held at the London Hilton Hotel on 28 November and will showcase achievements in regeneration schemes and innovations made over the past year.
The companies in the final shortlists, which were judge by industry figures such as Will Alsop and Tony Pidgley, include:
- Alfred McAlpine Capital Projects, Birse Civils (North East), Carillion Building, Higgins Construction, Keepmoat and WSP Remediation for regeneration contractor of the year
- Carey Jones Architects, Clague Architects, Countryside Properties, Gardner Steward Architects, Ruddle Wilkinson Architects and National Grid Property (formerly SecondSite Property) for best mixed-use regeneration project
- BPTW Partnership, Chapman Taylor, Cooper Cromar, Gardener Stewart Architects, Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects and PRP Architects for regeneration architect of the year
- Barratt Homes, Countryside Properties, Crest Nicholson, Gleeson Regeneration, Keepmoat and Lovell Partnerships for regeneration housebuilder of the year
- Berkeley Homes, Crest Nicholson, English Partnerships, Higgins Construction and Mill Group for regeneration partnership of the year.
