Devi has launched the DEVIreg Touch, a touch-screen thermostat for floor heating. The device, which has a two-inch screen, can reduce energy waste by up to 12%, the company says. It features an “open window” function which prevents heat being wasted by turning off the heating if the thermostat finds a big drop in room temperature. The timer also optimises energy used at start-up and fade-out. The company adds that the DEVIreg Touch has an accuracy of +/-0.5˚C, according to tests carried out to EN 15500 and EU.BAC standards.
