Greenleaf Urban Tree and Landscape Products has launched a soil structure module that is designed to encourage tree root growth and provide support for paved areas located above the roots
Called StrataCell, the specialist urban tree pit design company says the module can support maximum traffic loads while allowing 94% of overall soil volume for root growth. The product’s open structure also provides apertures for utilities, service pipes and irrigation systems that could normally be damaged by tree root growth.
