This 409-seat lecture theatre, in the centre right of this diagram above the existing medical school entrance, was designed by local architect FaulknerBrowns.
The practice has also designed a laboratory and MRI scanner facility for the psychology department. The projects will cost about £4.5m and are due to be completed this year. QS is Summers and Partners, M&E engineer is RW Gregory and Partners and contractor is Sir Robert McAlpine.
