BAA has just completed this 10,000 m2 extension to its international departure lounge at Gatwick Airport's South Terminal.
Designed by Geoffrey Reid Associates, the five-storey extension nearly doubles the size of the terminal. It includes retail, catering and airline lounges. Contractor was Taylor Woodrow, structural and services engineer was WSP and QSs were EC Harris and Doig and Smith.
