The latest images of the world’s first spaceport, in New Mexico, USA, have been revealed by Foster + Partners.

The 9,000m² scheme will become the new home for Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic venture, housing a spaceship hangar and astronaut terminal control room. The low-lying building has been specially designed to minimise the impact on the historic El Camino Real trail nearby. Tenders for contractors to build the centre will be released by the New Mexico Space Authority.
