Your chance to come up with the definitive name for HOK’s 2012 stadium. And win two tickets to an Olympic sports event of your choice to boot

This is your opportunity to be part of history. To come up with the next Gherkin, Walkie Talkie or Shard of Glass and come up with the best nickname for the new Olympic stadium.

Early attempts for alternative names have ranged from the Trampoline to the Triffle, the Gasometer or the Fruit Basket. Are these the best we can do? We're offering a pair of tickets worth up to £80 to an Olympic sporting event of your choice (no that doesn't include darts) to the reader who comes up with the best name, or a randomly selected reader who chooses the name that is most agreed on by respondents.

The competition will be judged by Building's architectural editor Martin Spring. You have until Monday to use all your creative juices and naming powers. Either comment below or email building@cmpi.biz
