Barnet council gives go-ahead for 188-home development in north London

Willmott Dixon Millbrook Park

Willmott Dixon has won planning permission from Barnet council to build a £100m scheme in Mill Hill, north London.

Designed by Broadway Malyan, the 188-home development will be delivered by Prime Place, the private sales arm of the contractor’s residential division Willmott Residential.

Called Millbrook Park, it will include 159 homes for private sale and 29 for affordable rent, with a parkland garden at the centre of the scheme.

The development will also have an underground car park and a low carbon district heating system.

Prime Place managing director Briain Brady said the Mill Hill scheme fits it strategy of providing homes in “popular locations and close to excellent transport links” and added that work is expected to start on site “very soon”.
