Contractor will work with architect Ruddle Wilkinson and structural engineer Alan Conisbee & Associates on two-story extension to Collis Primary School.

Willmott Dixon has been awarded a £4m school extension contract by the London Borough of Richmond.

Under the deal, Willmott Dixon will build a two-story extension to Collis Primary in Fairfax Road, Teddington. Work will start later this month and will include the addition of 12 classrooms as well as the refurbishment of the school’s main reception.

The fast-track project will be completed in September next year ready for the 2006 academic year. It comes after Willmott Dixon was awarded a similar scheme by neighbouring London Borough of Kingston to add an extension to Tiffin Girls' School.
