Willmott Dixon Construction has been awarded a £24.1m contract by Haringey council in north London to build what will be the first scheme to be completed under the Building Schools for the Future programme. The Haringey Sixth Form
Centre is also the only bespoke sixth-form facility in the borough, with places for up to 1200 pupils. With an area of 11,300 m2, it will offer vocational courses for performing arts, hospitality and catering, sports development, media production, music and business studies. Work starts this month on the White Hart Lane site and it is due to be complete in July 2007.
