The building materials supplier buys US-based distribution company Mobile Supply and French builders merchant MSCO for a total of £4m.

Building materials supplier Wolseley has acquired two distribution companies from North America and Europe for a total of £4m.

The firm has bought Florida and Alabama based Mobile Supply, which last year had a turnover of £6.8m, and French builders merchant MSCO, which had a turnover of £2.5m.

The deals bring Wolseley’s total acquisition spending since August 1 to £422m, spent on 17 companies.
