This cafe in iroko wood, in the Kent town of Deal was the winner of the structural category in this year’s Wood Awards
The design for the £1.1m job was by Niall McLaughlin Architects, the main contractor was Barwick Construction and the joinery subcontractor was Canterbury Joinery. The structural engineer was Price & Myers. The client was Dover council.
