Tarkett’s engineered wood flooring has been fitted at the Long Barn in Bedfordshire, a 170-year-old barn conversion.

Ash Nature White was specified from Tarkett’s Salsa range for the ground-floor living areas.

According to architect Nicolas Tye: “I specified this type of timber as I wanted to utilise a light tone that also had some texture and movement in the grain to cope with wear and tear on the floor, but also one that would bounce light around the interior of the barn.”

Salsa floors are 14mm thick and are available in 10 wood types.
