Tower is in the ancient Chinese capital city of Nanjing
Construction has begun on a Paul Davis + Partners-designed 14-storey tower in the ancient Chinese capital city of Nanjing.
The mixed-use La Vita development includes three floors of retail at its base, and 11 floors of luxury apartments and clubhouse facilities above.
La Vita is for client Accurate International Land and the 18,000sq m building, which is due for completion in mid 2015, will be cooled by a chilled beam system.
The glass façade employs a network of steel and aluminium fins.
Paul Davis + Partners has also designed the next two phases of the building, which include a 25-storey building and a 300m tall tower.
