WSP has made several appointments as it looks to strengthen its project and commercial services team.

The firm has added two technical directors to this division, with Ian Martin joining having most notably spent seven years at Gleeds as an associate director.

He has been followed on that team by Neil Horton, who has rejoined the consultant having left in June 2009 when he was senior technical director. In his time away he worked at Chinese construction firm SIP Project Management for nearly five years.

WSP has brought in Andrew Wildgust (pictured)  to head up its healthcare advisory services team to deliver NHS business cases, estate strategies, healthcare planning and associated project consultancy services.

He joins from fellow consultant Currie & Browne, where he had been a senior director for nearly 17 years.

David Crowder has also been appointed as technical director for the firm’s building services team, having spent more than 11 years at engineering consultant Atkins.
