Some of the UK’s leading sustainability experts will speak at a conference on the true cost of going green.

Joanna Keys, deputy director of climate change at the communities department, will address delegates at the Cost of Going Zero Carbon conference on how the government is planning to introduce

zero-carbon homes by 2016. Steve Carr, English Partnerships’ head of policy and economics, will present a cost review of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Also speaking are Yolande Barnes, director of research at Savills, and Pooran Desai, sustainability director at BioRegional Quintain.
