Contractors score a winning goal at Arsenal’s former Highbury Stadium by helping to convert the site into 700 high-grade apartments

A Premier League display was given by m&e contractor NG Bailey at Arsenal Football Club’s historic former Highbury stadium.

The 10 acre site, recently renamed The Stadium, Highbury Square, is now home to more than 700 luxury apartments and high-end penthouses.

The new housing is part of the large-scale Highbury regeneration scheme.

Zucchini designed and manufactured an electrical power distribution infrastructure for Highbury Square.

The system had to incorporate landscaped gardens, feature ‘water walls’, a fitness centre and a large underground car park.

Working closely with NG Bailey and building services engineer Hoare Lea, Zucchini produced 32 customised, 400 A, rising main, busbar power distribution systems for the project.

The company also supplied more than 350 specially designed tap-off boxes to meet the client’s requirements for power distribution.
