NG Bailey has won a £13m contract to fit out 10 new buildings at an office park scheme in North Lanarkshire.

NG Bailey is to design, supply, install and test the mechanical and electrical building services at the Maxim Office Park development, which include the use of prefabricated electrical risers, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) heating and cooling systems, prefabricated dry risers and modular wiring systems.

Work is already underway on the 756,000sq ft development, and some of the key services solutions include the use of high performance glazing, designed to reduce solar heat gain, as well as the use of energy efficient light fittings which control lighting during daylight.

The project is due for completion in March 2010 and is expected to receive a BREEAM rating of ‘very good’.
