Site manager Gillian Jenkins became the first ever woman to win the NHBC’s Supreme Award in its ‘Pride in the Job’ competition. She was one of three supreme award winners who made it through four stages of the competition, beating over 18,000 other contenders.

Jenkins, of Laing O’Rourke Scotland, won the award in the multistorey category for a residential development for CALA on a brownfield site at Glasgow Harbour. George Lattimer of JJ Lattimer won his sixth Supreme Award in the small to medium builder category, and Bill Hughes of Miller Homes North West won the award in the large builder category for the second year running.
