Re: "Tenants to choose cops to tackle those 'who don't give a damn'" (3 October, page 8). Lower-ranking police officers tend to view antisocial behaviour as a very low priority.
Senior officers make promises on the issue but it does not trickle down the chain of command. Tenants are fed up with the lack of police support and unless there is a more serious crime a negative turnout is occurring.
