The National Security Inspectorate's ICON scheme, which was set up as a recognition vehicle for smaller and newer installers of electronic security systems, and achieved UKAS accreditation for product certification EN45011 during the past year, has notched up its 50th company.

Premier Security Systems, of Kingsteignton in Devon, became the 50th small installer to join, having proven its commitment to conform to meeting appropriate British Standards and Codes of Practice for both technical and management criteria.

Mark Rawlings of Premier said: "Achieving ICON approval provides me with the endorsement that can show my customers that Premier Security Systems operates to the highest standards that meet both Police and Insurers' requirements."
