The market for the off-site fabrication of m&e services is rising by almost 10% per annum. The increase was revealed following a BSRIA study into the process intended to predict market trends and forecasts up to 2010.
The study involved indepth interviews with over 150 industry users, non-users and suppliers. It included analyses of case studies, looking at project objectives and the assessment of quality and financial targets. Interviewees included some of the largest firms in the sector including Bailey Prefabrication, Corus, Crown House Engineering and Emcor Drake and Scull.

Firms planning to move into the prefabrication market, or those already operating within the sector, will find the study useful in gauging the future market potential of their business. For a copy, costing £650, call the BSRIA bookshop on 01344 426511 or e-mail: bookshop@bsria.co.uk.
