Talks are taking place to place up to 350 Olympic apprentices on the Crossrail project

Apprentices currently working on Olympics may finish their training with Crossrail.

The Olympic Delivery Authority is committed to training 350 apprentices but there are only 68 on site.

The ODA, Crossrail and National Apprenticeship Service are discussing the possibility of a transfer after 2011

A Crossrail spokesperson said: "We are in dialogue with the ODA and the NAS and will, over the coming months, assess the options for ensuring Olympic trainees are given every opportunity to complete their apprenticeship post-2011."
