Osram has eased switching from standard halogen lamps to energy-efficient replacements by extending its Halogen Energy Savers range.

The products can achieve 30% energy reduction, last twice as long as standard incandescent lamps and are dimmable, says Osram.

The 12 V Halostar G4 reduces energy usage by a claimed 30%.
