I am amazed that so many people have the time and inclination to argue about half a metre or less on the length of a hip rafter.

Unless you’re dealing with a few hundred roofs the difference in real terms, ie cost, will be negligible.

It’s no wonder that QSs have the reputation of being grey boring people.
