Located in the heart of the united Arab Emirates, Dubai is one of the fastest-growing cities in the world and, as such, the Dubai Police has completed a £200,000 expansion of the existing city centre CCTV network.

Installed by Al Taaraf, the system makes use of Synectics’ advanced video matrix switcher to interface with and control a mix of Third Party manufacturers’ equipment (as well as state-of-the-art cameras installed at strategic locations across the city). Featuring an ultra-compact 128x64 Tesseract SL matrix and x250 system controller keyboards, the system is said to be capable of handling expansion requirements up to 512x64.
