A state-of-the-art electronic access control system from PAC International is helping to keep one of China's fastest-growing airports operating smoothly.
Over 12,000,000 people each year pass through the main terminal at Xiamen Gaogi Airport, located just 11 km from Xiamen City. To avoid 'paralysis', the security management team needed to secure and control access to high-security areas, while allowing staff to move freely across and within the vast site.
The solution uses a PC-based proximity access control system. Some 32 PAC 2200 door controllers and more than 100 proximity readers are linked to a single, designated central PC running PAC for Windows.
PAC proximity door readers around the main terminal separate 'airside' from passenger areas.
