Over 70% of ECA members have now registered with a government approved Part P Competent Persons Scheme.
David Pollock, ECA director, said: “The high numbers of members registered is very encouraging. It is indicative of their commitment to professionalism and technical competence.”
The ECA, together with BRE Certification (BREC), has developed one such scheme, and the Association has also developed courses to help contractors and local authorities understand the new regulation.
