The Construction Accredited Partner Scheme was launched on 13 October by the National Federation of Builders.
The scheme, which is supported by the ECA, is designed to encourage the full involvement of the specialist contractor in all aspects of the construction project.

The scheme is the latest initiative to follow partnering drives by government and the Strategic Forum. ECA director David Pollock said: "I look forward to future co-operation in supporting the principle of partnering and in persuading clients of the advantages of using competent teams made up of competent players."
