Brid Morton has been promoted to director of projects and portfolio management IFM commercial, North America with Johnson Controls. She was formerly Johnson Controls UK operations director for projects. She is based in Atlanta and will be responsible for developing the projects and property portfolio across the US. She previously spent six years working for Bovis International as a project manager in Spain, Greece and the Far East.

Gavin Ford has been appointed as assistant head of estates/facilities manager at the University of Brighton. He will manage the provision of site-based facilities services and corporate telecommunications, transport, security and mail distribution systems.

Gregg Gibbs is the new facilities manager with the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust and Tom Byers is the new facilities administrator. Gibbs was formerly facilities manager with the National Centre for Volunteering. Before Byers stook up the post, he was studying at Northumbria University. Reporting to Gibbs, his responsibilities include postal collection and delivery, ordering stationery, building maintenance and services and storage for the offices and labs.

Mike Goodwin has been appointed facilities director at the University of Wolverhampton. Reporting to the director of finance, he will provide leadership and manage change across a wide range of support services. He is responsible for buildings and estates, security, cleaning and caretaking, catering and transport. He will also oversee the strategic development and management of the university's estates and services.

Paul Crilly has been appointed as a facilities management consultant with PFI/PPP specialist Gardiner & Theobald based in Edinburgh. He was formerly with Direct Line Group. He will work as part of a team and his responsibilities include liaising with blue-chip clients and providing facilities management consultancy to clients.

Stuart Robb has been appointed operations manager for facilities at the University of Teeside. He is responsible for the effective delivery of support services including, catering, caretaking, cleaning, transport and car parking. He will also develop guaranteed service levels, apply principles of best value and develop income generation for the university.

Andrew Green has been appointed head of facilities management in Singapore with capital projects and facilities consultant EC Harris. Green was previously with DTZ Pieda Consulting. His appointment is part of EC Harris's expansion into the South East Asia facilities management market. As part of his role he will be running educational business seminars for EC Harris clients and building links with local universities.

Mark Elmore has been awarded the position of estates/building manager at Peverel OM Management Services responsible for the Western Home Counties. His responsibilities include managing budgets, negotiating contracts, liaising with technical staff and leading a team of concierges.

Judy Bolas is the new facilities manager at TLT, a firm of solicitors in Bristol. TLT is a relatively new firm, created as a result of the merger of Trumps and Lawrence Tucketts.
