Boris Klapiscak is the new centre manager for the factory outlet village at City Quay, Dundee's £30 million waterfront development. Following the opening of the first phase in October, Klapiscak became responsible for developing the centre's environment and implementing local marketing strategies. He was previously general manager at Littlewoods for 23 years.

Alan Travis has been appointed group PFI manager and commercial advisor for Interserve FM. He will have overall responsibility for Interserve's PFI contracts and will control the strategic expansion of Interserve FM in the PFI market.

Philip Smith has been appointed to the position of space planner with Chesterton Workspace Management. He is based in Bracknell and will work for client ICL. Formerly with estate agent Romans Professionals, his responsibilities include assisting with the provision of space planning services, producing scaled drawings of building plans and furniture layouts.

Tim Murray has been appointed as head of procurement with OCS group based at the firm's Croydon office. He will work closely with individual group companies' purchasing management sectors and is also responsible for planning and implementing the group's e-procurement strategy.

Rex Pengilly has been made technical director for asset/facilities evaluation and management at Weeks Consulting. He was formerly divisional director for restructuring and corporate development of facilities management at AYH. His responsibilities include developing a package for client-focused services, facilities procurement and management as well as conducting new research into occupancy economics and workplace dynamics.

Nick Thompson has joined Norland Managed Services as the regional manager responsible for developing the company's northern operations and establishing offices in Scotland and Leeds. Thompson was previously with PME in a divisional management role.

Chris Mansell and Patrick Flynn have been made partners at Knight Frank and Nicola Goule has been appointed to associate partner. They work in the asset and facilities management department.

Adam Griffith has been appointed buildings and facilities manager by Specialist Computer Centres in Birmingham. He will be responsible for its UK building portfolio.
