Peter Kinze has decided to step down from my position as Managing Director of Wagner (GB) Ltd, and writes explaing his decision:. 'I would like to say that this has been a difficult decision, as Wagner and Great Britain as a whole have played such a big part in my life since the 1970s.
I well remember the warm and open welcome extended to me by the British people when, in 1975, the modern window and door industry began its successful development and Wagner and I started to service this fledgling market, initially from Germany. The formation of Wagner (GB) Ltd in 1982 was a proud moment for me.

I am very grateful to you all as customers, suppliers, friends and business partners, for your help and cooperation in building Wagner (GB) into the company that we see today.

This success has only been possible because of our close and honest working relationships and our joint determination to develop and provide excellent service to the UK market.

Not least, I have to thank the members of the Wagner team, past and present. I have enjoyed their willing and efficient cooperation at all times.

I can confirm that, from the 19th April, Wagner's board of directors comprises of John Vaux (Managing Director), Steven Sale (Sales Director) and Bob Hayes (Commercial Director).

It has been rewarding for me to watch their development during their time at Wagner. They have demonstrated total commitment to the company and staff, which has enabled our excellent results to be achieved.

Regarding my position, I will continue in the role of Chairman of Wagner (GB) Ltd, and look forward to helping further the company's success, and that of our VBH Group as a whole, long into the future.
