Plan to ‘shame’ firms

Construction companies breaking industry guidelines could be named and shamed, if new measures get the go-ahead. The Scottish Construction Forum wants disreputable companies excluded from public sector tender lists to clean up the industry’s image. The forum is calling for a partnership to include Audit Scotland and industry bodies to identify companies breaking rules in the future.
