Pointer contracts appointment

Mike Cushion has joined Pointer as contracts manager with responsibility for new installation contracts for key accounts, nationwide. Pointer says his appointment heralds a time of change and growth for the company, which would benefit from his experience and enthusiasm.

During a 30-year career with Initial Electronic Security, formerly known as Shorrock, Mike's roles took him through installation, maintenance, engineering, branch, area and regional management, culminating as operations director. A keen Everton supporter in his spare time, Mike said he valued the spirit of the new company, which focuses on staff retention and motivation.

In another industry appointment this month, The Corps has a new manager for its remote monitoring centre opened last year. Gary Tunney was previously commercial manager at Ferranti Technologies.
