EIC is partnering Dew Construction and Formby Land Trust to provide a leisure centre and swimming pool in Formby. The m&e contractor will supply and install the electrical services in a £350 000 contract.

EIC’s contract was drawn up under the SPC 2000, a subcontract of the PPC 2000. This is designed to promote understanding of the project and apply a collective foresight to the job to reduce problems and provide an open forum with good teamwork.

Joint md Nigel Le Marechal commented: “We believe that the SPC 2000 can only serve to enhance the relationship that we’ve developed with [Dew Construction]. As a member of the partnering team we hope to play a key role in bringing best value to the project.” The contract is sue for completion by April 2005.
