Saint-Gobain Isover has launched the Climaver Plus R ductwork range for HVAC systems.

It is manufactured from high-density glass mineral wool board faced on both sides with an aluminium foil surface, which is claimed to act as a vapour barrier. Isover says the product is more efficient and more economical than sheet metal and insulation systems, and that the fabrication process allows for precision-cut joints, leading to lower leakage rates and improved performance.
