KSM's Sterling 5e line adapters enable telecoms equipment to be run over Category 5e structured cabling systems without affecting functionality. The units join a standard telephone socket with a RJ45 plug.

An updated version of the estimating software Easy Data is now available. The software is designed specifically for the network installation market and can be used to fully manage projects. Version 3.571 enables users to follow up requests and provide quotes faster and more efficiently.

Molex Premise Networks has launched a high density Cat 5e patch panel. The PowerCat is available in two versions with either 32 or 48 ports. They are claimed to offer a 30-50% space saving in the communications cabinet.

Ortronics International has introduced a new range of Cat 6 TracJack RJ45 modules. Capable of supporting Gigabit Ethernet, they can be provided flush or at a 45° angle.

Olson Electronics has launched a new range of networking products. RW Data's 6C telecomms outlet is included, developed to fit standard 6c fixings, while meeting Cat 5e.
